The organic milk business has experienced several boom-bust cycles.
As a result, dairy farmers have had difficulties with long-term planning. Our members want the ability to produce excellent milk, to care for their employees and their animals, and to be paid fairly for the additional effort required to produce organic milk.
Organic West was born with the idea to treat all participants fairly: farmers, dairy processors, and end customers. By bringing stability to a chaotic market, we plan to smooth out the peaks and valleys while continuously adding an abundant supply of fresh, wholesome organic milk to an ever-increasing demand.

USDA Issues Final Rule on National Organic Program
The USDA has issued a final rule regarding the agency's National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances for the National Organic Program. The agency renewed 187 of 198 substances submitted by the National Organic Standards Board as part of the 2017 sunset review. The document became effective March 15. Full Notice
